Why I Almost Gave Up on Shooting Film - Maternity Session on Film at Athens Founder's Garden

I brought a few rolls of film to Athens, GA and got the opportunity to meet Anna and Daniel at the Founders Garden to capture this season of maternity for them before they met their sweet baby Arthur! When planning for a family session, figuring out what to wear can be last on the list. Here are a few tips to help make planning what to wear effortless and beautiful! When I first begin planning what I am going to wear for our own family sessions, I always start with myself. I find it hard to be in front of the camera sometimes and if I feel confident in what I'm wearing, I always feel more comfortable in front of the camera. If mama's happy, everyone's happy, right? After I find something to wear (which always takes longer than it should), then I start building all of the other outfits within a color palette. As I do that, I keep these three things in mind and there ya go!

What's better than photographing a newborn? Well, photographing two newborns of course!! I LOVE photographing twins, I think capturing the special bond they share with one another as well as with their parents is so beautiful and different. Maybe someday we will be blessed with twins, but for now, I will have to get my fill during newborn sessions like these. Henry and Hollis were the best babies and just wanted to snuggle with each other the whole session, it was the cutest thing!
