Get in front of the camera, mama! - A Peach Blossom Mommy & Me Session
It wasn't right after having a baby but more around the two year mark, I noticed that there were things that changed about my body that I didn't quite expect and that I couldn't really change. I started shying away from being in photographs and would mostly be behind the camera, taking photos with my phone or camera of my crazy toddler. But when I look back on the memories I have with him, I know I am there, but I'm not part of the picture. Someday, when he's looking back at photos of his life, I want him to see me holding his hand gently, giving him compulsive cheek kisses every five seconds because I just can't help it, and showing him how to love and live in this world.
So, mamas out there, even if you don't feel like it for one reason or another, I want you to get in front of the camera. You are an important part of your child's story and ten and twenty years from now, I want you to be able to remember how you held his tiny hands in yours and kissed all of his fingers just because you couldn't help it. I want you to keep and treasure these moments that we all know go by too fast. Trust me, I know it's hard to bring yourself to be in front of the camera, but it will be so worth it.
