Camping with Babies + Toddlers - Hot Springs, NC Photography
Recently, we went camping with friends and their two little ones. And you know what? It was pretty great! Honestly, I think we should do it again. Next time though, we will be armed with the following insights:
- Have a stand up tent. It's just too cramped with baby and and all the stuff. We all need room to breathe!
- Check to see if there is a night train that goes through the site prior to setting up camp. It will be loud and wake the little ones.
- Take extra precautions for rain. Maybe put down plastic inside the tent just in case there are leaks.
- Don't worry about trying to make the baby sleep by himself, he will refuse. Go ahead and just let him snuggle with you for the night.
Even with these lessons learned, I got some great shots documenting the trip and thought I'd share them with you!
