Washington, DC and Chesapeake Bay - Travel Photography

Last year, before the baby, we went on a trip to sight see in DC and sail the Chesapeake. These photos are long overdue, but they turned out absolutely beautiful, so I had to share them. My favorite is the one where I am trying to take a photograph of the Washington Monument from the Lincoln Memorial and someone jumped in front of me with their umbrella. I think it turned out quite nice, I love the green against the hazy rainy background.

I love looking at these photographs, it reminds me of that time, when we were eagerly awaiting the arrival of our precious son. In lieu of how it felt waiting for our baby, I am sharing the photos from the trip I think capture anticipation, mystery, and natural beauty.
